Darren and Nathan are the owners, carpenters, installers, general contractors, and all-around good guys who will be right with you from start to finish. We value open lines of communication, honesty,and providing high-quality products everyone can be proud of. Since becoming friends nearly ten years ago, we have combined our talents to create some remarkable pieces of furniture, completed several extensive remodels, and constructed countless kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities. With nearly 50 years of combined carpentry and woodworking experience, our customers benefit from a wide-ranging skill set and a true passion for the art of creating beautiful kitchens, bathrooms, and many other home improvement projects.

Darren Jorgenson

Co-Founder / Carpenter

Darren has over 25 years of woodworking and carpentry experience. He first discovered his love of the craft in high school where he took woodworking classes and worked for several years at a cabinet making shop in Minnesota. From there he pursued his dream of being a police officer and firefighter. During that time, he was always building kitchens, bars, furniture, and remodeling homes for friends and family. In 2019, Darren took on his biggest project to date building a new home for his family which of course included building all the cabinets from scratch.

Nathan Heit

Co-Founder / Carpenter

Nathan found his passion for wood working while volunteering at Camp Gray, a Catholic youth camp in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. His mentor, Tom Thill, took him under his wing and showed Nathan much of what he knows today. They worked together on projects at Camp such as dining room tables, benches, and a yurt. A couple of YouTube videos later, Nathan was building a custom nursery set for his son and remodeling his family's home. The always frugal Nathan might tell you that was to save money, but he loves living in a home he built so much of.

Carly Jorgenson

Business Manager

Carly met Darren while working as an administrative assistant at a local architect firm. They were married in 2014 and have three children. Shortly after getting married, they finished off the basement in their first home. In 2019, they built their dream home together. They loved the experience and have lots of tips to share about new construction.

Carly stays busy with their three children and all of their activities.

Katie Heit

Marketing Manager

Katie and Nathan met while working at Camp Gray in 2015. Katie soon learned about his passion for woodworking, and Nathan constructed a few projects for Katie and her family. When they got married in 2018, Nathan surprised Katie with a beautiful oak dresser set. The following year they flipped a home and have been living in it ever since.

Katie is living out her dream of staying home with their children.
